We perform statutory audits on Companies, from small property companies, all the way through to manufacturing and trading entities.

The Companies Act has recently been changed whereby certain Companies that fall under specific criteria are allowed to have a review done. These are usually (but not only) owner-managed companies.

This review, however, is not nearly as thorough as an audit, and my recommendation would be that you keep getting your company audited, if possible. To this end, CC Steyn Accounting and Auditing can offer our clients auditing services at review price levels.

For smaller companies, it's often too costly or impractical to employ a full-time bookkeeper. CC Steyn Accounting and Auditing are able to offer monthly bookkeeping services, which may be a better option for many companies.

We have the latest Pastel program which we use, and perform the full bookkeeping function. The added bonus with letting us do your books is that a Chartered Accountant reviews your books for you on a monthly basis, and will send you monthly management accounts.

We submit company, close corporation, trusts and individual tax returns, provisional tax returns, VAT returns, and UIF returns.

We also deal with SARS queries, and get VAT refunds resolved. Please note that this, however, can be a long process due to the processes involved.

We can form new companies, do director changes, member changes and name changes to companies and close corporations. We also do annual returns for clients.

If your company has been deregistered with CIPC, we can do the reversal process to get the company's status back to “In Business".
